2007 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab PreRunner – 4.0L V6, RWD, Super Reliable

Selling my 2007 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab PreRunner with the 4.0L V6 and automatic transmission. This is the rear-wheel-drive PreRunner model that sits higher like a 4x4, with seating for 5 and the short bed – a great mix of daily drivability and truck utility.
The 4.0L V6 makes about 236 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque, so it has plenty of power for highway driving and towing, and it’s known to run for a very long time with basic maintenance. These trucks are rated to tow up to around 6,500 lbs when properly equipped, and the PreRunner rides comfortably while still feeling solid and capable.
Interior is roomy with front buckets and a rear bench, cupholders front and rear, and cold A/C with rear vents, plus handy storage in the overhead console and seatbacks. The Double Cab layout gives real back-seat space for adults or kids, and the short bed is perfect for bikes, camping gear, and weekend Home Depot runs.
Tacomas of this generation have an excellent reputation for durability and owner satisfaction; many owners report very high mileage with original engine and transmission when maintained properly. If you’re looking for a midsize truck that holds its value and is cheap to run, this is a solid choice.
