Used 2004 Land Rover Discovery HSE

We offer here a very nice example of a rare version of the iconic D2 - a 2004 (last, best year) HSE (top trim level) 7 (3-row, 7 passenger seating). This truck has low mileage (only 106,500) and is in terrific cosmetic and mechanical condition. The body and frame are in good condition as is the engine. The front and rear original bumpers are in like-new condition, an indicator or very careful ownership through the years. Even the wheel flares look unweathered as well. To maintain the engine's good condition we have reengineered the troublesome '03-04 cooling system by the addition of the Inline Thermostat upgrade resulting in a regular operating temperature well below the dangerous levels of the original system (from a norm of 215-220 to 185-190!). This will eliminate the #1 most common problem with this generation of Disco's - overheating and the resultant engine damage. With proper maintenance, another 105,000 miles should be easily attainable. We have also modified the Anti-lock Braking System to eliminate the troublesome but common "3 Amigos" issue. Likewise, all fluids have been checked or changed and no significant leaks are apparent. New brakes were installed all 'round and new oversize (+2.5") Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT's were mounted on the unique glossy black HSE wheels. A classic black hood decal was added along with new wipers and wiper plastic valence. Inside, a very clean leather interior is improved with new brake/T-box lever covers and OEM All-Weather mats. Of course, inside also features the marvelous Harmon-Kardon OEM sound system, exclusive to the HSE model. For your safety, the headlights, foglights, license lights and side marker lights have been upgraded to LEDs and new style in-grille axillary lamps add bright Daytime Running lights (switchable from white to yellow) as well as additional night lighting on demand.
