Used 1979 Mercedes-Benz 450 SL

1979 Mercedes Benz 450sl Red convertible - incredible condition. Just in time for the holidays - imagine your sweet someone's surprise when they see this beauty in the driveway!! This car has been loved dearly and cannot wait to find its new owner to take it on new adventures! Mercedes-Benz SL-Class - 450 SL. This car has been taken care of with great detail by only certified Mercedes Benz technicians. The car has only had two owners - the first private owner drove it for one year, and I have been the current owner ever since! My car has never been driven outside of Southern California or driven in snow. The car has only been driven approximately 5000 miles per year over the last 40 years. 95% of those miles were highway miles with very little city driving. There is no damage due to rust anywhere on the undercarriage and the factory-installed undercoat is still in good condition. Please refer to pictures, with more pictures available on request. With a removable hardtop, this red convertible features impeccable factory red paint and a tan leather interior. This Mercedes is quite a looker! Please note: the car has a new battery and has never been in an accident in its 41 years! The soft top was in great condition last time I used it 5 years ago. As I am retired the hardtop and the soft top are too difficult for me to remove and operate. The air conditioner and stereo could use some work, everything else on the car works perfectly. The car has been parked in a covered garage with a custom fabric cover, in the dry air of Southern California for over 35 years. Cover included with the car! All fluids have been checked in the cooling system, transmission, differential, power steering, brake system washer fluid & battery. The oil filter has been replaced and the oil renewed.
