Used 1976 Porsche 914

This 1976 Porsche 914 was acquired by its current owner in 1998, and it was subsequently modified for high-performance driver education use. Highlighting the alterations is the 2.8-liter flat-six built on a shuffle-pinned 7R case with RSR-style pistons, Pauter rods, performance cams, twin-plug heads, updated valves, larger throttle bodies, Electromotive crank-fire ignition, and headers linked to a stainless-steel exhaust system. The motor is linked to a 901 five-speed manual with a limited-slip differential, and the car rides on adjustable suspension with Koni dampers and reinforced trailing arms and has Boxster-sourced rear calipers and staggered 16 Fuchs wheels. Inside a Safety Devices roll bar, GTS LeMans seats, and four-point harnesses were installed. The owner retired the car from track use around 2010, and the car was repainted in 2011 and displayed at a concours in Hershey, in 2014. This 914 is now offered by the seller on behalf of its owner with a clean title.
