Message from the seller

This 1974 Porsche 914 race car was converted into a race car and assigned an SCCA log book in 2001. The car is powered by a 2.7-liter flat-six built with high-compression JE pistons, RSR sprint camshafts, and Weber carburetors, and according to the seller it was rebuilt just before it was acquired by its current owner in 2020. Subsequent work consisted of refreshing the fuel system and installing a Fuel Safe cell, overhauling the 911S-specification front calipers and brake system, installing Koni front struts and Elephant Racing monoball upper mounts, and fitting a fire-suppression system, Schroth harness, and reinforced chassis mounting points for the Sparco Evo seat. The car also has a later-style side-shift five-speed manual transaxle with shorter gears as well as a roll cage, a camera system, 15 ATS wheels, and more as described below. This 914 race car is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with an SCCA logbook, a second set of wheels, records, and a clean title.
