INTRODUCTION: Only 31,000 actual miles on this survivor! It is documented with original invoice, protect-o-plate, literature and a Marti Report. Only 2 owners. The Silver Luxury Group was the epitome of Lincoln extravagance for 1973. This one invoiced out at just under $10,000 which is equivalent to $73,000 today! Yes, this is a great car for several reasons but what really excites me is the color combination! Sold new at Don Ross Motor Sales INC, Tipton Indiana to the owner of Graves Trucking. He owned it until at least 1980, we have registration and inspection receipt. EXTERIOR: It was love at first sight for me! Out in the sun that Silver Moondust paint against the red interior is gorgeous. There is a lot of sheet metal here and it is straight and clean. It fits real nice, the giant doors shut like new. Repainted one time in its original color, the metallic is laid out evenly and the clear coat is polished smooth and glossy. The correct red pinstripe was hand painted. The original chrome and moldings are straight and shiny. The original glass and weatherstrips are in great shape. The silver padded roof was a part of the Silver Luxury Group. Some classic Lincoln features worth mentioning are the opera windows, big chrome grille, faux continental kit trunk and working hideaway lights INTERIOR: Cranberry Victoria velour interior is in excellent original condition. The plastic trim, woodgrain, gauges, knobs etc are excellent. The door panels, armrests and headliner are excellent. The comfy velour upholstery still looks amazing. Both front seats are 6 way power with armrests. Down on the floor is the original plush carpet. It is pure luxury and comfort, I want to make it my office! ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Smooth running big 460 4-barrel motor. It is completely unmolested and in stock condition down to the decals. The air cleaner is complete with the duct work and vacuum lines. The heat and air conditioning were serviced. During our service we replaced the radiator. It features power steering, power brakes and cruise control. Very complete, very proper and exceptionally clean. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Pop the power trunk release to find plush red carpet, even on the spare. It has the jack assembly and original spare tire that's never been used. Under the trunk lid is original paint including the factory ink stamps. UNDERSIDE: It has been well cared for and maintained as needed. There's no rust under this car, the floors are rock solid. It has a correct factory style exhaust with a muffler and resonator. The brakes are disc in front and drum in back, e-brake cables are hooked up. Looking up at the motor it's clean. It has its original C6 heavy duty automatic transmission and cruising gears in the rear end. SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell. CONCLUSION: Nothing compares to the ride these big luxury cars from the 70s have, it is like driving a boat on a cloud! The colors put this one over the top and the Silver Luxury Group makes it even more special. Vehicles are displayed in a museum setting.
