Used 1966 Austin Mini

This 1966 Austin Mini Cooper S was originally delivered to Hambro Distributors of Compton, and was purchased new by a doctor in Los Angeles County before moving on to its second ownerin 1968. The engine was sent to a shop after a head gasket failure in 1972, but the rebuild was not completed. The car was reportedly stored in the second owners garage until his passing in 1995, and was subsequently stored in and by his son until it was purchased by the seller in 2016. Rebuilds of the1,275cc inline-four and 4-speed manual transmission were commissioned, and other mechanicals were also refreshed with new or rebuilt parts. This Cooper S is offeredwith black license plates, removed original parts, aBritish Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, service records dating to 1968, and a clean title in the sellers name.
